I'm doing those today on my h22 head.

the 20 middle ones torque specs are 19 ft lbs

the 8 outer ones are 8.7 lbs ( these are the ones at the end of each cam, 2 per side per cam, so 8 total)

what can't you figure out about the auto-tensioner? its pretty simple and straight forward. you got three choices: 1 use a new auto tensioner that has a stopper on it already, 2 reuse the old auto-tensioner and use tie straps or something as a stopper, 3 convert to a manual tensioner.

just incase you don't have this info already on how to reuse the old auto-tensioner(its not recommended but I've done it once with success but now my current motor has a manual tensioner conversion)

ok so i got the zip try trick to work after taking the tensioner off and on like 5 times to get it tighter, just hope everythings lined up. NEVER had this much trouble with any timing belt install. After all this i hope the head gasket fixes the trick on why the coolant lines kept building up pressure.

You really should swap to a manual tensioner
