Default Thermal Cat-Back

Hey i have a 95 SI and was lookin at lots of different cat backs..........i am lookin for a good deep tone ( i know i am not gonna get the deep growl of a bigger engine) but you know what i mean.....i want something that sounds good I HATE RICE....and i have heard and read a lot of good reviews on the thermal.....Any comments or thoughts on this would be good......anyone that knows anything or have experience with them leave some info, thanks!

From what I've read & heard in person - they're loud . . . but deep & good sounding. Good looking (stock-like) mufflers, too.

if you want that, the thermal stealth exhaust is the one, its very deep and much quieter than any other 60mm catbacks out there, good quality, and absolutely no rice....

The only thermal available for the Prelude uses the "stealth" can, but is labelled as a "classic".

edit - above is true for the 5th gen . . .

there are both Classic and Stealth available for the 95 Si. The Stealth is more suited to this engine, providing even more low-range and mid-range torque.. It produces a deep growl, not raspy at all, and a nice tone when opening wide...
for the Stealth, a very impressive cat-back, i always get a lot of praise for my exhaust tone thanks to it.

i love mine.

its kind of loud... but its not soo loud that the neighbors hate me. and it isnt an obnoxious loud either. at idle i can hardly hear it but once i get on it it seems loud or normal for an exhaust.

put it this way... ive heard louder

yep. It's loud only at WOT, and when decelerating (with the gas completely off)
I have a resonated test pipe (more noise) and yet i can pass under the nose of cops, they don't even turn the head... 'Stealth' it is

basically, yeah what Jesus_FR said. the stealth system is amazingly smooth and not loud unless your foot says so.

Thanks alot guys....i have heard many many exhausts on 4th gen lude's........i have heard tons of ricey ****.........i want a good quieter exhaust that will still give you a good aftermarket sound (good low deep tone but still noticeable) and something that will definately turn heads on a Wide open throttle.

Also........this may be asking a little much...if y'all dont want to dont worry about it........but i was wondering if any of you have a thermal on your car and would be willing to get a video/sound clip of a drive by or a rev of something of that nature so i could hear it in action. I have found quite a bit of prelude exhaust sound clips for prelude's.........but cant EVER find one with a thermal........this would be appreciated

while my exhaust is all Thermal, its not something you can buy from them.

long story cut very short...

4th gen thermal cat-back piping

5th gen thermal muffler (dtm > stm)

header is Greddy and the cat is stock for now

(pic for reference)
