Default Test pipe help!

Hey all.
A while back i bought a test pipe from KTeller8. I also picked up a new flex pipe. Both measure 2.5" in diameter. I did this because i wanted to replace the old flex pipe that had a hole in it and get rid of my cat. However, when i got under the car to rip the old out and throw in the new, i found that these parts didn't measure up. The Test pipe was too long (longer than the cat) and was larger than my 2.25" thermal stealth system, and the flex was too short.

So my questions:
What should i do with this test pipe that doesn't fit?

I don't have an aftermarket header, am i to just weld the new flex pipe on where the old one used to be?

Anyone want to pick up a 2.5" flex/flanged test pipe combo for some cash?

I just ordered mine from Mike as well. he told me to go out and measure the piping. i was like... its ****** cold, ill call thermal. thermal told me it was 2.25" . so who knows man.

best thing i can say is to call mike or email him. he is good about things like that and will right the wrong.

all this stuff about "just go to an exhaust shop and they'll cut you a pipe forl ike 20 bucks" is kinda bs. ive been to a number of places that are like yea that'll run you about 80 bucks.
