I would say the ATTS system since it is being used in the new RL.

Yup, the new RL is AWD and has ATTS.

Beef it up?? Why?? The system isn't designed for turbos, etc. It works perfectly fine for the application it was designed for.

I would say 4WS is the next technology in line.

I thing that the 4ws was advanced for the time when it was released, but the atts is a pretty good system that is still being used by Honda/Acura.

Why exactly did Honda use ATTS instead of an LSD in the SH? Does it actually work better? Im guessing it mght be better bc it transfers the power instead of slipping the power for one wheel?

The prelude has always been a sports coupe from honda that they tested a lot of new technology on.

from the 4WS to the digital dash on the 4th gen. To the ATTS on the 5th gen.

Like how Video killed the radio star.........drag racing killed the prelude.

People was thinking like why rock a 3000lb boat when you can put it in a peanut shell and still have the same power but less wieght.

The engine swap is the real killer for the lude.

I think ATTS is more efficient than a conventional LSD because it monitors grip and transfers power to the wheel that has grip.

Why do you think they called it "Prelude"?

The Prelude was the car that they tried all the latest technology on. It didn't get VTEC first because the NSX did. The car after the NSX to get VTEC was the Integra GS-R in 92. Japan got the 92 Prelude VTEC. We got it in 93. Not sure why.

Yes, the Prelude was the fastest VTEC motor before the S2000 came out.

actually the 1990 japan prelude was the first prelude with vtec released in late 1990 as a 1991 model it hit u.s. shores without vtec in 1992 and vtec in 1993.... you are right though the 1989 nsx was the first automobile vtec application mass produced with honda only using it on some motorcycle application before that

NO. The NSX motor is the fastest vtec. You're contradicting.

HAHAHAHA. I assumed that it's comon knowledge that the NSX is the fastest. Did anyone actually think that the Prelude was faster than the NSX??? If so, I appologize for assuming.

The 4th Gen in Japan also had an optional Traction Control System.

at least when honda equipped ludes with vtec it gave us a chance to take advantage of it. imagine if theyd left it just with the nsx.

other than that, atts is definitely a good technology.

I think the best technology is in the ringlands and how strong they are.
