Default tech question. h22 crank diffrence?

wanted to ask the prelude guru's about a jdm h22. i would assume usdm would be the same.

is there any diffrence in cranks from a automatic and manual transmission h22a engine 1992-1996?

the engine that i used the crank from had a manual trans/clutch attached to it.

reason why i ask is this. i am running a h2b setup in my civic. where this had occured. yes the entire rotating assy was balanced at the machine shop. and it was all torqued to honda oem spec. while sampling some information that i cannot confirm possibly there is a variance/diffrence in h22 cranks? can anyone help/confirm? thanks. any help is appreciated!

The cranks would be the same for those particular years.

Cross referencing part numbers from someplace like www.hondapartsdeals.com or a local dealership parts department should show the same info.

thank for responses. after i posted. realized there was no usdm auto h22 til 97

does anyone have access to japanese part numbers to cross referrence? so those 92-93 and 94-97 should be the same other than crank pulley bolt?

Bringing this back for others to see. I had this issue too. ARP hardware is too long if a shim is not used.
Automatic tranny flexplate shim works .

I actually think they maybe a differance in the crank of a auto and a manual. Only differance being the end of the crank where the flywheel bolts is a thicker end on the auto trans. I would check this thickness before I made any purchases

I believe the '98 up pulley bolt was also longer. Always speculated that it might be a response to spun crank pulleys on the earlier motors.
