Default T2W4 Question

i am running a t2w4 transmission on my 4th gen honda prelude with a h22a4 in the car and have a mtf leak but can not see where it is coming from so... Here is the exact setup 95 prelude axles with 5th gen 5 lug swap h22 intermediate shaft. Another question is what VSS is right because im almost leaning towards that being my leak ? I remember seeing an O Ring on it when i put it in. I have no P/S so i have the top of the sensor just looped with a piece of rubber hose.

I can't find where it is coming from lol. It is a lot of places like hitting of axles and or coming from axle but its on top of trans and my back rail and dripping underneath. Sounds worse then it is but what I'm saying is it is in mutiple places so its hard to find.

ok, is it mtf fluid or is it engine oil? If its mtf i would be looking at the seals on the transmission. You could also clean the whole area with brake cleaner and some rags, then monitor it to see where it leaks.

Sounds more like an oil leak from the vtec solenoid, distributor oil seal, or valve cover. My setup (h22a euro-r with T2W4 trans) was leaking for weeks and for the life of me I couldn't figure it out, come to find out it was my vtec solenoid and my valve cover gasket both failed. Replaced both and never have had an issue since. At first glance when my leak started it looked to be my trans/axle leaking but after some trial and error I figured it was those two seals.

If it truly is your trans leaking get under your car and check the axles and everything in that area. Goodluck on finding and fixing your leak, should be fairly simple to locate where the oil is coming from.

That's the crazy thing were talking everything brand new and I'm sticking my finger all around under dizzy and valve cover nothing. There is a problem with the axles and I know it. Has to be. I wanna say that I'm suppose to switch to 5th gen and going to guess there a Lil longer because I'm starting to get a Lil wiggle in brand new axles. I am going to keep monitoring everything possible lol. Everyone knows how annoying it is to find something u can't find !! The last thing to this setup is finding the leak. I'm about to pay someone to find it LMAO!
