swaps
Assuming that you mean into a 4th Gen Prelude, then, yeah, you can pretty much swap in an H22A series engine for an H23.
Of course, there are a lot of reasons to wonder why you need to do that.
If you build your H23 it'll perform as well as an H22A... I've seen H23 head jobs that increase the torque and the output to the point that it's as good as an H22A.
If you go with the swap you'll need a new ECU, and you'll also have to run wires for the VTEC solenoid... as well has the brackets and the half-shaft.

you don't need a new half shaft and the only bracket you need is the ps pump as mentioned before. You will need the ecu but you may want to consider getting a p28 depending on you long term goals. Also if your car is a 96 you will need a harness to convert it to obd1 and run some lines for the sensors in the dizzy. But that and wiring up vtec is real easy. Also the lower portion of you im will not bolt up to the h22 but the iabv, upper im and tb are interchangeable.
