I had the car repainted. After I retrieved the car and took it home, I noticed that my passenger's-side door would not open from either side. Finally, after playing with it for a while, I discovered that there was only one way to get the door to open.

The one and only way to get this door open is to take the key, unlock the car from the outside, and open the door from the outside. This is the only way that the door will open. I have tried unlocking the car with the electric switch from the inside and then going and trying to open the car from the outside, but that doesn't work... it has to be unlocked and opened from the outside. However, it seems that the power locks are working just fine from the inside. I have taken the door panel off and looked, but nothing seems abnormal. Please help.

 

you may have slightly bent handle rods. make sure the rods are hooked up to the handle? did they detrim the car for paint?.. have the handles taken out? if so take it back and make them fix it. sounds like something is stickin
