steering wheel not centered
i got an alignment today and when i got the car back, he told me that the steering wheel is a little bit skewed to the right when the car is bearing straight. he told me that this is because the tie rod is broken?
is he correct and how much would it be to replace?
thanks in advance.
edit: he also said that the steering wheel has a slight vibration

Yeah that sounds about right.
When I installed my steering wheel, it was a tooth off. The alignment shop simply adjusted the tie rods and got it back to center.
Don't know how much it is to replace a tierod tho sorry.

so tie rods, would be the only thing wrong if the steering wheel is a lil sideways. (but everything else is lined up and driving straight)
Thats the only thing I didnt get fixed when I was involved in an accident, my car drives straight and mechanic fixed everything but steering wheel.

Don't let anyone fool you, a car can't be aligned correctly with a bad tie-rod. Also if the car is driving straight it doesn't mean it won't wear your tires. The only reason that a steering wheel CANNOT be centered is if the rack or rack bushings are bad.
