Default starter issue

my car was making a grinding noise every few times i started it. so i just replaced my starter with a new one, to try to fix the grinding i was getting every few starts, and it is still happening. truth be told, i dont care about the grinding, but if it is bad for the car, i want to get it fixed. maybe its the flywheel?

Remove your clutch cover and inspect your flywheel for any chipped teeth.

I have the exact same problem. I noticed that if someone starts the car and you look at the power steering pulley, it starts to go the opposite direction and then jumps back. Wierd. I also played with timming, replaced the starter (under warranty), and when it started, my flywheel was only a few monthe old. The teeth thing makes sense, but I dont think thats it.
