Default Stalling at part throttle

The car idles fine. I pulled out (first time since rebuilt head) and start going up my street and it just dies. I go to start it and it starts right up and catch 1st and it dies again under part throttle in 1 gear at 2500 rpms going up hill. Air fuel ratios were anywhere from 14.0-low 15s at idle. Coolant temp was about 180. IAT was 90. Im thinking maybe it could be a dead spot in the TPS but im not really sure. The car just cuts out, almost like i just turned it off. I didnt get a good look at the AFR before it died or any other data. I had the laptop in the car but was more worried when it died in getting it back in the driveway at that moment.

have you checked TPS voltages and implemented them in hondata?

No I have not. Do you mean see if they are reading the same or something else ?

Check the TPS...I had that same issue and found a crack on the plug housing. Over time it came loose, and stalled the car. I didn't change it, I just wrapped it up like a sling, with electrical tape...not sure if your plug is loose, but it sounds like TPS.

sounds like the TPS is hitting zero and cutting fuel.

well i went KOEO and opened and closed the throttle it was going a max of 68%. I went under the hood and opened it and the throttle was going a good 20% - 40% before it would even read above 0% throttle. The throttle does open and close all the way, no binding.

Are you saying you have to calibrate the sensor ?

I just found these actually.

you need to adjust your TPS sensor then. in order to do this, you need to cut slots into the set screws that hold the sensor on, then remove them. Replace those set screws with actual bolts for easier adjustment in the future. use a multimeter to set the voltages up properly. You may not even need the multimeter if hondata can log TPS voltage (neptune can so i would imagine hondata can).

Yes, you need to setup the TPS in hondata. This way hondata is programmed to your TPS and the fuel and ignition is calibrated to the actual opening and closing of the throttle plate.

well i figured it out and yes it was the tps out of adjustment. However there wasnt enough adjustment to get the numbers perfect. I could only get the numbers down to .557 at idle and .456 WOT. Do all TPS's allow the same range of adjustment ?
