Default Spyhunter Modifications

Too many people being mean and getting their precious feelings hurt. To lighten the mood, I think the time is right to ask a question I've been dying to hear answers on.
What are some good ideas for modifying the prelude to perform tricks like on the arcade game 'Spyhunter' ? I'm wanting to put out smoke screens, oil slicks, drop nails all over the road, have blades come out of my rims, etc. You know, spyhunter modifications...
What are practical ways to go about accomplishing these modifications?

Smokescreen is easy . . . . just hit VTEC . . . .

But if that's not enough for you, just rig up an oil reservoir tapped into the intake manifold. Flip a switch to open it up & dump the oil into the engine, and voila!

I think maybe it would be better to spray oil into your exhaust because too much baked on in your motor will affect performance after a while

yeah, replace your o2 sensor with a pipe delivering oil. just be prepared to wash your rear bumper everyday.

I know someone who removed the lock from his trunk and replaced it with an electric squirt gun. He connected it to a gallon of water in the trunk and to an electronic trigger by the steering wheel.

Not exactly spyhunter, but I think it's pretty good.

ok here's another one:

Again, not spyhunter, but what spy doesn't have a phone in his car?! Has anyone done this, put a Honda phone in their car?

mount some .50 caliber machine guns to the front of the car, either in the fog light position, or in one of the headlight spots. ammo can be stored in the front fenderwell and belt fed.

How hot would the oil need to be to ignite and smoke, if not pushed through the engine? I mean, how far back would the feed line in the exhaust still function?

I like the oil resorvoir tapped into the exhaust, I would place it behind the cat I think, as long as it still ignites and doesn't burn my bumper off. I was thinking of running one of those exhaust cutouts, with a small section of pipe facing the ground, but the less modification to the existing systems - the better.
One down.

A port out the trunk is good - but water? No way - maybe that can be modified for the oil slick?

Where can I get a .50 cal machine gun? Can I use my 410 shotgun or Springfield 45 semi-auto instead?

well, i had a leak in my oil pan and it would smoke from the oil dripping onto the exhaust pipe.

I was always thinking of making a cutout for your liscense plate and putting it on an electric motor, then hit the button to flip it to blank or something for tollroads or random **** like that. lol . Or mounting some of those big *** SAM engines in the trunk. hit the button and they lift out and away you go, much like on the show mythbusters.

Oil into the exhaust isn't gonna do much. It'll smoke some, but nowhere near enough for a "screen".

Oil slick wouldn't be too tough either. First get yourself an aftermarket fuel cell for your gas, install that in the trunk. Then modify the bottom of the stock gas tank with a door and some way to open it remotely. Then you've got a 12+ gallon oil slick ready to drop out the back of your car . . . .

Although making the door big enough to drop the oil all at once & then still seal properly might be tricky. And you'd want some kind of extension for the opening to make sure the oil flows out towards the bumper so you don't get it on your rear tires.

I like the watergun idea, people with mercs, bummers and porches don't like their car gettig wet lol

I'm actually seriously considering butchering my rear fiberglass bumper to do something like this, if I ever get the time and cash to do it!

I've also seen someone mount the windshield sprayers under their fender well and fill the water reservoir full of paint stripper! If you intend on keeping it longterm, I'd be worried about the stripper eating the plastic, though.

I'm liking this: Go get a metal box welded up out of some thick sheet metal. Polyurethane the inside so it is sealed. Mount it in the trunk and cut a hole or two to fit some pipe to go from inside the trunk to under the rear bumper. Weld up an exhaust cutout as a stop valve, and voila! Instant oil dump system! The only problem I can foresee is figuring out how well the cutout will actually seal off liquids.

I always wanted to convert the rear window washer on my old accord to be an oil squirter, aim it high, so you could squirt oil in the air at someone behind you. That would make a nice mess on thier windshield that would take more than washer fluid to clean......

i am never riding in your car again.

.50 cal machine guns - too expensive and very hard to mount. the recoil they give is insane, that is why they are mounted (and weigh about 60 pounds each). the .410 would have to be reloaded way too much. you would be better off going with say an M-60. its a 7.62 FMJ round and comes in 100 round belts. im sure you could get one at the gun show and just mount them in the head lights (assuming this is going into brooke's car).

oil slick - bore out a couple washer squirters so that they will flow more fluid. then just mount them to the bottom of the gas tank. have a fuel cell in the trunk and then you have a 4 gallon oil slick waiting to happen.

license plate thingy - get a synchro from work. run a rod across the back of the license plate and hook it up to a rheostat (sp) and then you can adjust the lift and drop as you want.

smoke screen - liquid smoke, you can get it at any party store. the "fogger machine" just heats it up, so pour that **** onto the exhaust. once again utilizing the nozzle washer method mentioned for the oil slick.

come on now Jon, you work at NASA. you should be the one telling us how to do this ****

Oh I have plenty of ideas - but are they practical?

Those fog machines won't make the kind of smoke I want: I want it black, and so greasy and sooty that the car behind goes blind and spins off the road like in the game. But I admit they'd be easier to rig.
Do you think the washers would flow enough to do any damage? I like the big pipe ideas so far - like the exhaust cutout, with a big *** rubber seal on it. I want to dump ALL 4 gallons at once, just when I'm entering a corner with the feds on my tail. Then open up the smoke screen. HAHA!

Good ideas so far - now for the harder ones...... how do we go about rigging up those spinning blades on the wheels, eject spikestrips onto the road, sideways shooting flamethrowers?

word of advise... do NOT use anyone from HT as a referance for any government job you want to apply for lol.

if you want to dump all 4 gallons at once then the system would have to be pressurized to get it all out in a timely manner. other wise the only way would be putting a "trap door" on the bottom of it.

Adapt the windshield sprayer thing. Set it up just like a normal flamethrower.

Set up the sprayers in the fender wells to shoot a flammmable liquid (use the paint stripper/thinner again!) and aim it straight out. Then set up a propane flame to sit at the edge of the car, in front of the spray's path. This will ignite it in midair, giving a nice-size flame to incinerate your enemy's, or the local cop's, car!

In South Africa you can get an anti car jacking device thats a flame thrower. it mounts under the drivers side pan.

I've been wanting to make a stealth Lude. Basically, 7" moniter on the colomn or dash hooked up to a home type IR gun. They're good for about 300' and can be run on a 110v converter. Then have 2 switches for the lights. One for the brake light wire coming out of the ecu (so you'll still have abs) and the other to kill all the lighs except for the head lights. The headlights operate normally with the colomn switch so you have the option of having them on or off. Then flat blk paint, a jammer, V1, and naws

^^ exact things I was thinkin about doing to my black 87 Si lude. When you hit that switch all the lights go out and at the same time black pieces of plastic cover the plates. Stealth at night with just headlights.

damn I wish I had enough money to replicate KIT. "one man can make a difference Michael"

Crack just doesn't do it for me anymore. No more rollin' through the hood with my head out the window calling 'hard?'

Hey what are you trying to do with this infrared? I don't understand. Obviously you want to creep with no lights on, watching the monitor. But how, again?

And last of all - is there a way to have spinning blades in the rims, so cars on the side can get slashed up, without wrecking my car when I hit them?
