OEM Honda wires are tough to beat, but Magnecor 8.5mm (is that correct or do they offer 8mm) are also reputed to be quite good.

If your ignition system is otherwise stock, I recommend you stay with the stock wires(new). If you want color, check out the NGK 8mm wires. They are basically stock spec with a different color.

I just got my engine and need to replace my wires. I have a 4th gen and plan on upgrading my ignition. What wires do you reccomend ( I get a discount on OEM stuff)?

I used the Moroso ones and actually ran slower times than the stock wires. Also, the Moroso connection on the end, where it connects to the distributer melted off and fell off. I was pissed and think these wires are crap. I used to run w/ stock wires and still plan too. My friends at the shop also run w/ stock wires too. Just giving my opinion.

so what kind of plugs do u recommend ... i agree that Magnicore is the best for Ludes ... at least that's what i heard ... but i'm thinking of going with copper plugs since it creates more power, except you have to change every year ... any comments??

NGK = no good kind.

Ok, just playing.

How about those NOLOGY wires? Their concept seems to be good. They've been tested, and proven to help free up a few horses. Expensive though; they go for around $150.
