skunk2 pro3
i am about to buy a pair of skunk2 pro3 camshafts and a skunk2 valve springs retainers and valves and i wanted to is it worth the money because i want big horsepower gain i think this is the way to go , my car right now has aem pulleys, aem cam geares, dc headers, hyper madilion cat back exhaust, aem cold air intake, msd ignition, fluidyne radaitor, apexi v-afc, stock jdm p-13ecu,(not tuned) do u guys think i will get big gains or should i do something else first please help
yes you will notice a difference but i will say beef up your manifold and throttle body to see that huge gain in TQ and HP but you on track also replace your p13 with a p72 on hondata s300 now you will be allot faster
The Pro3's are meant to be used with very high compression. They're not street cams.
A good header like SMSP or Hytech would yield better gains given what you have now. Ditch the vafc for a real tuning tool like Hondata, Crome, Neptune, etc.

throwing a big cam in a stock motor is asking for a slow car.
look at the big picture. The people using these cams have fully built motors with high compression, typically using race gas.
rethink your strategy.
