I installed a SK2 IM and I love it. Lots of gain I felt the difference. Have not tuned yet but the difference I felt. Then again my whole valve train is SK2. Head is ported with a stage 2 cam (SK2).

so youre saying the skunk2 IM works well along with your turbo setup. thats what they were saying earlier in the thread. but as far as using it with a fairly stock n/a motor it doesnt do much

whats your setup btw?

Those of you with the Skunk2 IM, do you have cold start/idling problems with the IACV being a few inches away via the relocation hose/plate now?

no probs w/ mine.. fires right up when cold like a stock car.. and this is on a turbo car w/ 550's on an aem ems...

ps just pain in the *** to fit, even w/ the relocator in a 96 HB

The manifold is nice, but there are several things I would change that make more power.

I'm in the middle of an install with my S2 mani and have run into a couple snags. I tried to put the IAC valve bracket on and my AEM fuel rail seems to be in the way. do I have to trim the bracket or am I missing something?
Problem 2 is putting the IAC valve on the bracket. One bolt is shorter than the other and one of the bolts doesn't go through the bracket, plus the valve itself sits wrong unless you put washers between the bracket and the valve. Is there a different bolt i'm supposed to be using and am i to use washers?
I wish there was better documentation and pictures that you can barely make out. It's actually been an easy install but these two problems are holding my upgrade process up.

I have a RevHard turbo, 650cc inj, 255 Walboro FP, 2.5" DP, 3" catless exhaust, HKS SSQV on my car currently. I'm going for a full day tune on my Hondata S200 in about a month. Before that time I plan to install atleast an upgraded clutch. Do you guys think theirs any potential in running a new IM & TB?? If so, what brand? & also, any other upgrades I should consider??

Keep in mind I'm going to be sticking with 7lbs on a stock block. - and I'd love to hit 280whp - if not 300hp.
Thnx

so far we've come to the conclusion that the Skunk2 manifold is good for FI and for peopple with mods(NA)

to the guys with that have ran the skunk2 and the euro r. which one is the better choice on a stock motor and which one is the better choice on a built motor?

i've read the euro r > skunk2 on stock.

Personally, I would have the stock manifold modified, but if the choice is between the Euro R and the skunk, I choose the Euro R.

Euro R.

And Im sure you mean "Targa" NSX when you put the initial T in your want to buy sig. A true "T" top has two halves never built for the NSX. '95 and up only.

the relocator should bolt right up, along w/ that gasket.. i ran mine under the tb and just drilled a hole in a 2"x 5" piece of aluminum which i bolted one end to the right most 10mm bolt that holds the throttle cable to the intake mani, then i tapped the other end to go before the (i think) 12mm bolts on the bottom of the iacv.. w/ the length of that manifold it in no way interferes w/ the fuel rail(stock) and i was able to just barely get my wiring to connect to the iacv-- if ur still having trouble i can show u some pics

a good tb would be a good idea.. and the skunk should give you a nice gain, but if you plan on making 300hp w/ 7psi i definetly would do something about that 2.5" dp.... the turbo usually likes 3" right at its exit.. good luck

So when modifying the stock manifold, what is done to it? Is it the same as if you were to send it into Blacktrax and have them do it? And why do you choose the Euro R over the S2 if you previously stated that the S2 produces more power?
