Default Side Blinkers

I was wondering if anybody had experience molding the side blinkers. Reason so, i wanted to get rid of the side blinkers and install side markers that blink with the turn signals. Any help would be helpful.

I'm really not sure what the hell you're talking about. On a 5th gen prelude, you have 4 turn signals. 2 up front, and 2 in the back. None of the 4 blinkers are on the side of the vehicle. The car does have 2 sidemarkers, 1 on each side of the bumper, just forward of the wheel. These can be wired in to your existing turn signals to become blinkers.

I believe your talking about the running lights on the bumper. When I took my car to get painted they asked if I wanted to have them shaved. stupid me said no cause I was unsure of the longevity. Later on I had seen the same shop do it on a 5th gen. It turned out nice. I regret not doing it. You can also just find a jdm bumper and not have to worry about it. That option might be cheaper seeing that you'll have to pay for the shaving and new paint assuming you don't do body work/repair. I'm with you on wanting to get rid of them for real side markers that serve a purpose.

Sidemarkers have a purpose, a legal one. If you want them to do more than light up all the time, get some dual-filament bulbs and wire them into your blinkers.

I understand captain obvious. What I was considering ''real'' I was referring to JDM, relating that to the question he was asking. IMO the locations of the running lights isn't in a very good spot for side markers anyhow, But I guess its an apples vs oranges type of a debate that only 2 losers like us could talk about on a Saturday night, but the honda-tech meet took it out of me.
