I'm pretty sure thats what happened, but I see some preludes that says vtec in the back and others that doesnt.. and some that has vtec written on the side of the car in grey-ish letters.

as far as i know and i think im like 99 percent correct about this, the prelude si never said si anywhere on it. same like the s the only visually discernable model would be the vtec. {im talking about 4th gen by the way} i know the se said se on it, but it wasnt in red. and 5th gen had an SH model, again not in red. the civic si on the other hand, had the red si badge and thats what looks like is on your car. its no unheard of to find prelude si with the civic si badge. me personally, the only place i want to see anything civic related in my car is the rear view mirror lollll

none of the 92-96 "S" or "Si" models say anything. The 4 wheel steering models (4WS Electronic Control), Si VTEC, and VTEC models all have stickers on the trunk (DOHC VTEC).

I had that SI badge on my car when I bought it. Needless to say it was removed shortly after.

Yes, it is from an EP3 model Civic.
