is the Base model and SH model steering wheel the same ? I have a base steering wheel and i wanted to know if it wheel fit in my SH?

 

I believe it fits, but just to make sure, take a picture of the BACK of the steering wheel.

 

well i dont have my steering wheel off, but the one i bought has 2 slots and my service manual says that the SH has three. I looked up the steering wheels for an SH as well as a base and they are different part numbers

 

Then, it'll have to be notched, just like the S2000 steering wheel. Search for the recently bumped S2000 steering wheel thread and it will have a how-to.

 

yes it will work. When you take off your sh steering wheel use a dremel to make a similar 3rd notch on your base wheel. does not have to be perfect. Shown in picture is a templet made to replicate.

Yes, use a cutting wheel, I recommend the reinforced ones. just keep making little slits.
