I have a 01 Prelude. If I'm looking to buy some rims etc....what is my offset? What setup do you guys have out there? I have a 1.4 drop all around. I want 17s but what should i be looking as far as width, etc...thanks

 

you should get 255/45/17, thats what everyone told me to get, but i havent gotten them yet.

 

255/45/r17 is pretty damn big for a prelude. i don't think that would fit, particularly if your car is lowered. i could be wrong. 215/40/r17 is a good size.

255 is too damn big. i've seen up to 235 thats it. 215 if you don't want rubbing issues when your ride is lowered. 225 - some rub, some don't when lowered.

unless you live in a city that's pothole free, i suggest 40-45 tires.

 

I have a 1.4" drop with Koni/HR sports. I run 215/40 with 17X7.5 rims. Offset should be 45 and up to be safe. My offset is 48.

 

i have enkei rs-e 205/40/17 and they are the ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my only issue is i wish my tire was thicker! i call 205/55/17 a perfect rim&tire size!
