Default Resonators

Sup everyone, I was thinking about getting a resonator welded in my magnaflow exhaust on my 00' prelude. Its kinda loud which doesn't bother me to much, i was just wondering would a resonator take away power??

more trouble than it's worth.

Why not just get a regular muffler (with 2.5 or 2.25 inlet and outlet) and use larger diameter piping?

I have a Kamikaze Header, Custom Piping, Carsound cat, and Magnaflow muffler. The whole system is 2.5 inches.

if speed is your goal (which is looks like it is) then no, don't bother. It's going to slow you down.

actually you know what its not. I was going to buy a drag kit but oh well. I just want a quick car that looks good and doesn't require you to work on it a lot. I don't really care about 1/4 times.

stay with what you have ., if you plan on boosting alot then youll need a 3 in downpipe all the way back, with a turbo anything above 10 psi but if your not boosting much now dont worry bout it., youll be fine with what you have with your jackson racing sc.
