I have a 99 lude and i heard that there is a recall on the ignition switch at http://www.alldata.com/TSB/24/992404AR.html
i Honda Tech in Fairfield told me YES there is a recall for the ignition. Then a tech at honda in sacramento told me NO. So im comfused now. Anybody out there with a 99 base model ever hear about any recalls plz let me know.

 

Yes there was a recall. I've had mine replaced.

 

this recall wasnt for 01 was it?

 

this is for 1999. go to alldata.com and you can find your recalls. thats what works for me.

 

The 97 has the same recall as the 99. i just checked not sure about the 01.

 

if im not mistaken it was for all 5th gens
