Hey guys. Both of my rear quarter panels are pretty much shot. My right one isn't as bad as my left one. The rust was soo bad that after I grinded it down, a big hole appeared. Both areas above the wheel well are rusted, most of the drivers side area is rusted into the door sills. Can anyone help me with this? Anyone in Minnesota know any good body shops that'll give good deals?

 

Hey man I feel your pain. My 92 lude is in the body shop as we speak getting both quarter panels cut out about 6x8 inches and refilled to get rid of rust. I got a good deal tho, 300 to fix sand and prime. So while its in there I'm getting a few dings fixed and then its gettin a paint job! Just check around, I know here in Marlyand, its hard to find someone who does patchwork. No one wants to do it because there a good chance it will come back and they don't want the liability. ur best bet would be to fine some good quaters and have somebody cut and weld them in.....if you just try to patch it the rust will be back in a matter of months!
