Rear mount
When i pulled my motor out, I only removed the 5 bolts from the rear mount that held in the motor. Now my question is did you guys have any clearance issues regarding the rear mount. Each time i tried to move it either direction the mount got in the way. I havent inspected it closely yet. Ill have to check it tonight, i just pulled the motor out and was done for the night.
What do you mean "the mount got in the way"?
What I've done in the past is unbolt the mount completely (the part that attaches from the back of the motor to the motor mount itself). Then I attach the top bolt at the block and the motor mount bolt. Then you can move the motor around enough to get the rest of the motor's bolts in with the two inserted bolts acting as pivot points to hold it together while moving.

It was in the way because it get caught on it while moving the motor around, i had the motor come out at an angle(had the power steering hook higher and hooked it to the tranny hook). Are you talking about the 4 bolts from the bottom of the rear mount that is bolted into the tranny?? if so those are the ones i removed and 1 bolt next to the VSS.
There is a mount bracket that attaches to the back of the actual motor, and a mount that is bolted to the car. I am talking about only installing one of the bolts that holds the bracket to the motor.
