question about camber
I have a question and ive searched but havnt found quite the answer i need. i know camber isnt adjustable but to make a long story short a while back i did something stupid spun out broke off my left rear wheel and ended up having my car sitting on top of a guard rail w/o any body damage, just the rear wheel. however it was curious that i got on the guard rail w/o any body damage, and lately im noticing that although both my front tires are bald, pretty much, the right front tire has more wear the the left one, and the very inside of the front right tire has more wear on the outside. the inside is bald and white is beginning to show while the outside you can see where the tread used to be. my guess is that i hit the curb w/ my front right wheel had my car fly into the air and miraculously land on top of the guard rail. seeing how camber cant be adjusted im guessing i need a camber kit. is it ok to just put it onto one side of the car? and i noticed a few camber kits say you cant use it if it has been lowered b/c there are clearance issues. anyone have anything to say to help me out?
You can get an ingalls camber kit. They're about 60 per coroner. There might be other kits that Luders like better. Take the Lude to an alignment shop (or Goodyear) and ask them to print out a reading of your alignment ($10-20). The problem is probably the toe (toe out). Anyways, let them check it and set it back to stock settings.
