Default Prelude engine conversions/mods

I brought my first car and its a honda prelude, i didnt get a V-Tec they are hard to find and i couldn't wait so i got a S with a F22a motor in it. Some of my friends have said to not worry about it the motor is a piece of junk and to resell it and try and get my money back and get something else. I went down to a wreakers and found a V-Tec motor is was either a H22 or H23 i dont remember what the guy said it was. I asked him if i could do a motor conversion with my F22a for a V-TEC and the guy said you couldnt do it unless you brought a nosecut which had everything and then he said to be dont buy it just sell yours and get a V-TEC i would do this but they never come up and when they do they are extreamly over priced. Can i do any engine conversions to make the engine alot better? or can i do any mods to make the engine really good? should i sell it or keep it?

Well, options are endless...
It all comes down to this: how much money do you want to spend and what are your goals with the car?

Relax, take some time before you spend any money, and read through the Prelude FAQs for a while.

F-series are in Preludes, Accords and S2000s. The Prelude/Accord ones are very different though.
