Prelude ECU Problem!!! Help!!!
I got a 97 Prelude SH just rebuilt motor, tried turning it on but i wouldn't stay on, it would idle badly i change the map sensors, tps sensor everyhting and throttle body, but same problem. I found out its the ECU!
My original ECU is P5P, and i got a P5M from ebay. but it won't turn on, it cranks but won't turn on.
Someone Told me i have to get a new key from Honda thats programed with the new ecu, and also program the immobolizer (whatever that is!! lol)

You have already heard the answer, you have to have Honda set the key to the imobilizer. They will have to do this at the dealer, so get ready for a tow bill, and 1/2 hr to an hr to program it all.
