Prelude 85' replace distributor
Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to replace the original distributor to another with a different part number?
My Prelude is a 1985 EX 1.8l m/t equipped with a TD-01G distributor. The pulse generator is broken and I can't find either the same distributor or a pulse assy.
The service manual refers to Hitachi - D4R82-23 or Toyo Denso - TD-06H, TD-01G and TD-05G distributors for manual transmission.
Is it a direct replacement?

If you look down you can see all the part numbers and prices and what not.
