im an accord owner and i dont wanna buy an H22 to put in it. i want a whole lude. ive got an 89 lude with a blown b22 vtech. i want a 92-96 . what do i need to look for in buying one? ive got less than 3000 to buy with.......

 

3k might be a lil tight for a h22 lude. id say buy anyone u can find for that price. cant be picky.

 

get a 94+ if you want the short center console with a CUPHOLDER!!. also 94+ has EL gauges. look for rust on the sunroof and the rear quarter panel.

 

can anything be done with the 160hp H23. is it reliable and a little sporty. remember im wanting to upgrade from the F22b in the accord.

 

yea, but 94+ has those wierd half clear/half amber bumper corners. I guess thats an easy fix though. Oh, and your e-brake handle sticks up. But i want your gauges. I love my 93 though.

Anyway, for $3k, get whatever you can. I paid twice that for my '93 h22 just a year ago. But it only had 100k miles, never been modified, perfect shape... other than the oxidized red paint. The Si would be a good route to go. My old prelude was a Si. I loved it.

 

i loved my 89 si too. i blew it up quick though. would a 94-96 si be reliable and what would it run with?stock? and with a little stuff....cai, exhaust, im an open mind wanting information on this gen.

 

check out ebay. they have tons of h22s for pretty cheap

 

i paid 1300 for my lude

repairs and paint will cost 1500
jdm h22 costed 2700

so that puts me at 5500 for my h22 lude
