I really see no reason why it couldn't. Just it might take some time and handy work but anything is possible. That looks like it would take up a lot less room than an air to air IC.
you can get kits cheaper than that. Or even the same kit for $320 less

or if you look around there are pages on how to ghetofab your own.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but that will not work with the lude kit. The Miata kit mounts the blower on the front of the engine and routes the pressurized air via a charge pipe from the blower to the throttle body. The air/water intercooler for the Miata kit mounts inline in the charge pipe.
The JRSC kit for the lude is COMPLETELY different, mounting the blower directly on top of the intake manifold. There is no charge pipe.

Wow, you need to do a lot of research. The JRSC kit for the lude only replaces the upper intake plenum (where the blower resides), not the lower runners.

i dont think you will be able to use any type of intercooler with that setup. the way the supercharger mounts makes it pretty impossible unless jackson racing fabricates an intercooler that mounts between the supercharger and intake manifold it would be very difficult to do such a thing. i mean how do you plan on routing the air from the supercharger to the intake manifold. just asking.
It can be done. A guy on preludeonline modified a stock lower intake piece to incorporate an air/water core. The blower bolted right up to it and he had it running, but unfortunately never got a chance to dyno it or even check his intake air temps to see if it helped. I've posted a link to it in a past thread.
