Default PLEASE HELP!

I am going crazy here. I am trying to get a few parts from Honda. The problem is that it is a swapped H22 w/ an automatic tranny. Does anyone know what model prelude came with a vtec engine and an automatic tranny? The guys in the service department here are ******** and want help me at all even though I have bought thousands of dollars worth of parts from them.

Even if you have a site that I could look for which model came with vtec and an auto tranny I would really appreciate. Thanks!

You could only get an auto tranny with 97+ Preludes. All 4th gen VTEC ludes are 5spd.

what year engine do you have? if it is 95 or older it will an obd1, you need to give us the details of your engine/tranny. Is it an h22 automatic transmission or accord?

What parts are you trying to get?

It is an h22 automatic transmission. It has the p13 ecu. I am starting to question everything that I was told about what year it is and everything b/c none of the parts match up. I'm going crazy trying to figure this out.

check the engine code on the block, an h22a4 is 97 and newer. H22a1 is 92-96, h22a is the jdm engine. What could have been done is they used an obd1 h22 with the newer h22 auto tranny.

check the codes on the engine and tranny then bounce them off the prelude specs and stats thread.

It is a JDM.... sorry I forgot to mention that.

I have to get a few parts.... O2 sensor, knock sensor, and the main one is the counter shaft speed sensor.

engine code= lower left hand side of the engine, where the tranny bolts to the engine. (on the block i believe)

tranny code= there should be a sticker on the top of the tranny that will have a code like m2f4, m2b4, etc.

you can also get the date of the engine, right above the exhaust manifold, stamped on the block

Alright I have a few numbers for you guy/girls if you can help me at all.

Looking at the engine the stamps say:

H22A
1016491

On the control unit for the ecu:

P13
SM-402-15 N

I don't have the sticker on the tranny to tell me which automatic tranny I have so does anyone know where I can get the code for it. I know its supposed to be on there somewhere else but I don't know where.

I am at work right now and am not able to take the heat shield off so the I can see what year is stamped on it. I'll update you guys/girls with that later on in the day. THANKS FOR ALL YOUR HELP!
