Overheating
There was a hole in one of my hoses and it caused the car do gulp coolant and overheat. Well, I replaced the hose and poured an entire jug of Honda's coolant in the radiator and it still gets really hot when just sitting. WTF?
P.S.
It is normal temp. when driving at moderate speeds.

you need to bleed your system. do this ; warm your car find the bleeder value right past the dist. (looks like the bleeder thats on your breaks you will see a hose going into it) after its good and warm open with a 10 mm socket and ext. (i think its 10mm ) n e way do that bout 2 or 3 times and you should have removed any air thats trapped,,,,,,,,jt

well i live in a climate thats not to harsh and i have no problem with my car warming up, but then again i've had less problems with overheating so it doesnt really matter unless you live in a really cold enviroment. as for gas mileage and efficiency?? are you kidding me? staying out of vtec will save you more then doing this + for someone thats looking for gas mileage and effciency forget about modifying your engine for power even if its said a cold air intake will give you better gas economy thats rubbish, your computer has to conpensate for the airflow adding more fuel, if it didnt you would run leaner, so in return if gas efficiency is your biggest concern go buy a insight or go hybrid. if you werent intrested in speed and or custom then you ultimetly wouldnt be at this site reading about boost, swapping engines, adding cams, racing, ect...
yeah but when you car is cold ie warming up it is running in cold start mode. if you take out your thermostat it takes longer to heat up and longer to get out of cold start mode.
when you are in cold start mode your car uses a a lot more fuel but doesn't necessarily give you more power.

Yep, always bleed anytime you do anything that involves the cooling system.
