I finally got done installing my smsp header today and I took around my block open header and it is hillarious at how loud and mean this thing sounds. When I punch it I just lose traction but it is very fun

 

My hytech sounds very aggressive as well, but way way way to loud

 

yah my mom was a few blocks away and she said she could hear it even with her radio on

 

i wish i would have gotten to do this with my smsp, but i couldnt get one of the downpipe bolts off so i just drove to the exhaust shop with the stock on

 

I have yet to hear a 4cyl sound good running open header.

I hope you see some good gains with that header. You seem to have a well prepped engine. Good luck.

Yeah any open header is gonna be louder than a ****,
i had to coast down the hill and then start it up so i
didn't **** my neighbors off when i was running an open header

 

I just took my friend for a little ride open header he had to close his ears once I hit vtec it sounds like a drag car just hope I don't get pulled over tomorrow on my way to the muffler shop

 

my dad said he could hear my car ~5 miles away when i was running open header.

i would get headaches from the noise after 10 minutes if i didn't put earplugs in.

 

Even the stock header is loud as hell if you leave it open. It's not hard to make any car real real loud, the trick it getting it quiet.

 

I just took off all my old rotted off exhaust and put new on but i decided to drive it for a day open header on stock header. WOW I agree that is loud as all hell! Kinda fun in traffic when you just punch is and everyone is looking around with the funniest looks on their faces haha
