I just finish rebuilding my motor and started it last night. The motor sounds very clean. The problem I have is when the rpm goes under 800, the oil light starts to flicker and turn on. When I push the gas a lil or start drive normal, the oil light goes away. The oil light only goes on when the rpm drops below 800.

Anybody have any ideas or suggestions on how to solve this problem?? Thanks

 

that happened to me a few weeks before my motor seized on me. my oil pan and pickup hit the bumps on the ground to hard. $900 later i had another jdm h22

 

Possible could be the bearings in the connecting rod, this happened to me and my motor seized, i recomend not to drive to much like this or you might get a huge towing bill .

 

could be you are low on oil.
oil pump is not working.

 

dont drive under any circumstances at all.
