i have a 98 base prelude and my question is...
you know on the gauge in the bottom middle theres a lil square and i think it says maintenance... what color is it supposed to be? i think mines used to be green or orange, i dont remember... and now its red... does that mean somethings wrong? my car runs fine... what could it be?

That is set to change colors over time. At 7000 miles it switches to red, to let you know or remind you that maintanance should be done, like oil change ect. It doesnt mean anything is wrong with your car. Just stick your key in it and it will reset to greeen. its more of a reminder feature.
