no vtec no cel
im having more problem after another with this h22a
i i couldnt get it started, pulled the plugs they were dry... checked the fuel pressure (12) replaced the fuel pump. still couldnt get it started checked no spark, played with the wires make sure they were all good, turned it over fired right up.
same thing happened
i threw a code 15 (ignition output signal). new dizzy, msd external coil (its got some years on it). again i played with the wires and i havnt seen a cel since then. so possibly its not sparking hot enough at higher rpm? or maybe a timing issue?
my IACV is basically dead, i can hear it buzzing through the intake (little guys stuck open) so i have a vac leak (ive never herd of an iacv causing a loss of throttle responce and vtec engagement)
my vafc is showing a lower rpm than my stock tach and my apex tach, i know the vss and the tach can cause no vtec, but mine working its just not accurate.
maybe i should go with a good ol tune up... new spark plug wires etc.
any help would be great, im burnt out of this car and i just want to hear vtec at 5300 again.

oil was on the lower hole on the dip stick (i wouldnt think a half quart/ quart of oil would make a difference until i started reading up on how sentative the vtec system is on oil pressure.
but it seems like there more than that wrong with the car... it pops at about 5500 rpm, so i was thinking timing, but everything is TDS, i pulled the plugs to see how they were sparking, it looks like theyre not getting the spark they should, like a light/dim spark i guess you would say.
its got an external MSD coil, has anyone herd of those coils going not producing the spark they should be getting after they get some time on them? or possibly a coil/dizzy wire is going bad (im going to check the resistance of that wire here shortly.
again, all help and siggestions are appreciated.
