need help fellas. i got a h22(97 lude) for cheap. it has a bad motor and is an auto. my car went down and i need a cheap quick replacement motor that will bolt up fairly easy. i was saving up for a 5sp swap but $#!t happens. i have located a 3.0l out of a cl and both a f22 and 23. need something that will hold me over for at least a month and wont break the bank.

 

just get a jdm h22a or jdm h23a

 

Get another H22 locally. That will most likely be the quickest, easiest, and cheapest route.

 

Id like to see the 3.0 in a lude

 

hey im back. i just bought a f23 for $300. im gonna pick it up next week and im lost on the bolt up. cheapest one in town was a grand. so give me some options. do i try and swap out on craigslist or can i drop this s.o.b in with the slapstick tranny

 

good luck with that "cheap" and "quick" thing u were talking about. would have been a hell of a lot easier just getting another h22
