Need lsd!! please help.
Alright so right now i have a rebuilt h23 transmission (m2s4) bolted to my h22 but it is no longer working for me. I love the shorter gears (besides 1st) if im not mistaken for ratios. But i cannot get traction for the life of me. Have tried wider tires to no avail. So basically looking for lsd trannys - M2B4, M2T4, M2Z4, T2T4, T2W4, and U2Q7. I was picky at first that i didn't really want the M2B4 due to shorter 5th and i wanted better gas mileage, but at this point im done i just need lsd! So any help in pointing me in the right direction? Thanx in advance guys.
and... have done some research as far as ebay, hmotors and tiger japanese goes, but i have no idea where a good reliable place is to get a trans.

Ya i realize this now its not so much the gearing that im bothered, just that one wheel recieving all the power instead of both is lame to say the least. ive tried as wide as 215 on the front tires and it still burns alot of 2nd gear... Have launch control as low as 2K for the M2S4 because more than that and it just spins..
Have you tried running Drag Radials?
What is this car used for? Plenty of people have done just fine w/o an LSD for drag racing. A certain 10sec 600whp Prelude comes to mind.

Car is my daily driver. With trips to the strip every other weekend or so in the summer.
Im 19 and going to college so im not lucky enough to have a car for each.

Are you having traction issues on the street or strip?
Maybe you need some dedicated Drag Wheels/Tires?
I don't think the LSD is the answer you are hoping for. When I installed mine, I still had traction issues, but both tires were spinning this time, and corner exit was a lot cleaner.

Street and strip. Ya id like to just buy say 2 drag radials but it really doesnt fit into my budget that well comparing to an amount of other things that are needed, probly will need breaks done here soon... But although both tires were spinning im sure you could launch at high RPM's and spun for less amount of time for quicker 1/4 times correct?
To be honest, I have never really seen an LSD make a difference in a 60' time before.
Generally speaking, I don't think most Preludes have enough power to enjoy an advantage from it in launching.
Now powering through turns, a completely different story. Say goodbye to inside wheel spin.
