that manual is FANTASTIC info, and is now saved as some of the most valuable info i posses. but the auto listed is for the H23. the mp1a is the jdm lsd auto.

i thought the h23 trans was sort of medium geared compared to the long f motor trans and the short h22 trans. i know thats the case with the 5spd's im not 100pct sure on the autos.

According to that manual, both the F22 and the H23 automatic transmissions have the code of MP1A and with different ratios for each. You might have specified JDM LSD auto.

where do you see that they are specified as MP1A??
ive searched thru that whole section and nowhere do i see anything labeled as MP1A. i see all the specs and ratios for the autos but it doesnt specify which trans is which.

not doubting you Kronn, i just dont see it.

That won't do you any good. The EDM Service Manual also claims that Honda used the MP1A auto tranny on all non-H22 models worldwide.
