LSD gone wrong it looks like
Ok i just bought a h22 swap for my delsol.... my engine code said it was made in 92 and the tranny is a h22a4, We did the whole swap and were having insane binding issues... only when we would turn AND accelerate, it was fine if we coasted... So after ordering gator custom axles and having it STILL! bind we were like ok we are tearing this tranny off so we look into it and see thats it is lsd, "Aww sweet its an lsd" we thought... then we glance at the tranny code... "hmm i think lsd jdm trannys are h22b4 let me go look on honda-tech", Yea that tranny is from 97+ year usdm... wtf why does it have an lsd in it... "lets check it out, wow its missing washers and stuff", that means that the lsd was most likelly sliding back and forth when i was putting torque to it and turning, Now i cant wait to tear it apart and find out what else in it is messed up. Hopefully its an aftermarket lsd and i can order the right stuff for it and slap it back together. I am hoping that i can find all the tourque specs ect ect from the helms manual, I dont know where i am gonna find the specs for the lsd hopefully its aftermarket and i can get them from the maker of the lsd as well. If it isnt after market what kind of meathead trys to put a honda lsd into a non lsd casing? Any thing else i might want to worry about when i got to take this apart and then reassemble it?
keep in mind its a pain in the *** to do and make sure you are a very calm and patient person before you do it. The reverse gear holder is not fun to put in...

brmgold has m2a4----jdm NON lsd tranny.
someone try to put an lsd in it. you can tell from all the orange gasket maker around the casing. whoever tryed to didnt do it right his axles bind in both directions even though he has custom gator axles that are 5mm shorter. any ideas on what went wrong with the lsd install. why would it make the axles bind? is too loose ?

hey do you live in mass/nh , i think i know you, your girlfriend is best friends with Renee,
well anyway, what is the tranny code of your transsmission exactly, and tranny work can get ugly, just don't lose anything,
edit: another thing i thought of that might be some help, is to search in teh archives for info and or problems with LSDs , there has to be some info outhere that can help you... and especially if your axles are the custom gator ones, you shouldn;'t be having binding problems, if all elese fails post in the forced induction forum, more people have inof in there about lsds because they need tration
