Default a lil help

hey whats up guys. i recently did a jdm swap. went from a h23 to a jdm h22. i put the h23 dizzy on the h22 because i'm running all msd with an external coil and i also swapped out the ecu. the ecu is jdm h22 as well. the problem i am havin is with the vacuum lines and the rev limiter. its still redlining at 6500 n i thought the h22 redlined at 7500. so does the computer control the rev limiter or do the dizzy? please help. thanks

the ecu controls it.

made sure you hooked everything up correctly? (mainly wiring up vtec correctly) because vacuum lines won't give that type of problem

I think you have to get VTEC working to get higher redline. Even if you didn't you wouldn't or at least shouldn't want to rev your engine that high without it.

and you are wondering why it doesn't rev past 6500? seriously?

its like asking "why doesn't my car move? i have tires sitting on the driveway but they aren't on the rims yet"

you need everything to work in order to not throw a code for vtec to achieve a 7600 rpm limit

Yeah it wont run up that high without all the vtec wired and such, and I would say unless you have vacuum right, or at least all plugged and run so it runs with no leaks, dont even driveit, and really dont try to rev it up that high.
