Default Knock sensor issues..

I'm doin a 2000 h22a4 swap and I'm lookin for the knock sensor. I've done a search and found threads that said it was under the intake manifold and above the oil filter, but I looked myself and haven't found it. I'm guessin those are for 4th gens, because this picture of a 95 h22 swap from Sport Compact Car magazine shows it.

So, where exactly is this knock sensor? Am I just not finding it or is it at a different location? Pictures and a real detailed description would really help. Thanks.

I guess you didn't read my first post too well. I found the threaded hole where the knock sensor is supposed to be, but I guess the junk yard didn't include it in my "complete" h22 swap. The intake air bypass solenoid is missing too, so I'm gonna have to call them up and ask them about it.

Also, I found threads with pictures of knock sensors, but they were OBD1. I read that the OBD1 knock sensor has a round plug and an OBD2 knock sensor has a square plug. Does anybody have pictures of an OBD2 knock sensor or are they the same but just different plugs? Also, which are interchangeable?

Here are the two... (right = OBD1, left = OBD2).

Just splice the wire... they should be interchangable.

I just got the one on the left from the junkyard. I guess I should be ok since it's OBD2 right?

BUMP

I got this blue knock sensor from a civic engine, not sure what year. I was told it wouldn't work on the h22? Is this true?

How much are they at the dealership? Why not just go there and get what you need?

Generally about $100. Junkyards are great if you can find what you need. Hope it turns out ok.

I got this knock sensor (the round one picture above but blue) from the junkyard for free, but it was off of a Civic. Will this work or not? Nobody has answered the question and I've read different things from different people.
