Default JDM lights

I have a 4th gen jdm with the H4 bulbs just for dipped and seperate bulbs just for full beam.

Is there any way to wire up the H4s to come on with full beam too? And is that something one should think about doing? Or am I just being a total spak?!

Aren't JDM stock bulbs...H1's? And what you mean full beam? Regular and High beam?

I have jdm headlights with h4 low and h1 high. But I think you are saying that your h4 goes off when you turn on your high beams? both my h4 and h1 stay on when I turn on my highbeams.

or are you saying you want to turn on the high beam/full beam in the h4 light when you turn on you h1. yes you can do that I would install a relay instead of just wiring the h4 high beam to the h1.

follow the wires for your stock headlights. i think usdm has both high beam and low beam on at the same time, or just low beams by them selfs.

there is a picture somewhere on here that shows you how to wire up both filiments on the h4's. personally i wouldn't do it but whatever, seems to be the norm with ppl and their jdm headlights.

just fyi, the way you have it hooked up now, is the way its supposed to be.

Thanks guys, just to clear up, the H1 comes on for high beam and the H4s stay on low beam at the same time, BUT I want the H4s to come on high beam as well as low beam at the same time as the H1s so that I will have double the high beams! Clear as mud right!

I hear what you're saying about not messing with it but my retinas get burnt all the time by idiots not dipping in time, it's time for some pay back!

Sorry about the Engish (full, high, low, main beam), I'm from England.

Basically you want a dual bulb in the low beam spot. Then have it wired to where the brighter side of that bulb comes one when you turn your brights on AS WELL AS the regular high beams?

get a 4 wire relay. run a ground and a hot to battery and then the switch to the aditional high beam. for the trigger you are going to splice into the high beam.

You can also wire a diode between the high beam and low beam. The diode gets attached to the high beam so that when it's on juce flows back to the low beam. Although you might have to run a new wireing harness to handle the current, it's still cheeper then relays.
