who is the hottie on the hood?

I have a few black interior pieces if you are wanting to go with black inside. My 92 has the dreaded blue inside and the hardest part was finding good black seats. I have a hook up on some new OEM black cloth that was removed from on that had leather installed when new. Those would be about 200.00 shipped for the front and rear seats. You should remove the wheels though.

Yes, please get rid of the lame auto parts store wheels. They're too heavy and big for a Prelude....

Might also want to get rid of the altezza tail lights and get some one-piece headlights.

IMO just leave the interior alone except for cleaning it. Making it 'pop' looks bad after about a week. But maybe if you posted a pic of the interior we could give more specific help.....

I'm sure they're just messing with you. You might wanna post some inside pics too though, since you're asking advice on what to do with the interior... just a thought. If we can see what you have done already and what kinds of things you're in to, we can guide better.

They are VERY VERY ugly though.......judging by the rest, maybe you can start painting interior pieces red?

Well how do the gauges look now that you've changed them?

Also, how much money are you looking to spend? Did you want to go a different shade of blue on the inside, or a different color? Carpet? Lighting? Neon? As of right now, where's your mind at in terms of what you want the final product to look like?

You might wanna look around into what types of seats will fit the seat brackets either with or without modifications. Any ideas about shift boot/shift ****? What about the lighting on your CD player headunit? How does that tie in, or do you care?

Theres a billion different nuances to consider.

How much do you know about electrical? If you want to be super cheap, buy a set of computer case cold cathode lights (ebay) and mount them above the foot wells. Wire them to the dome light circuit if you want them to come on when the doors are open, or to a switch that you mount somewhere. Add a set under the front seats if you want more effect. Only use the cold cathodes if you know nobody will kick them. They're cheap but fragile.

If you want to get somewhat crazy with it, you can gut your car and find some decent carpet from a craft store or whatever... something that'll hold up to being on your car's floor, and then cut it to match your current carpet and swap.

As far as the interior pieces, the plastic can be painted as long as you do it right. I painted the interior panels on my girlfriend's Saturn, replaced the arm rest cloth with some seat covers i bought at walmart and cut to fit and used 3MM super adhesive to fit it on. It was a process though... prolly 6 weeks between prep and paint.

If you go that route, make sure you leave the pieces out maybe two weeks or so after they're done "drying" to make sure the paint fully cures.

Here's a quick shot of the finished product:

Well you guys have to take into consideration that the pic is my girlfriend's car... she picked the color. Its in a silver Saturn, and she's prolly gonna get it painted some other girly color to match the blue. The flash makes the blue look a bit weirder too, but its not too bad. She likes it, and its her car, so i guess that's all that matters.

I'd never do that to my 'lude though. Wasn't making a suggestion as to a color, rather a method. Just posted it up to show there are options for painting the interior as long as you do it right.

I personally think that if you wanna go the underglow route, you might want to get a kit of some kind, so the tubes don't show, just the light. Although, with the 4th gen and its stance you might be able to get away with leaving the stock body on it.
