Installing a Header not sure
I just brought a new header for my prelude and I was wondering can I simply just unbolt the old header and simply bolt the new one on and nothing else. Do I need to buy a special type of sealant or gasket, everything should come with the header right. I brought a greddy 4 2 1 2 piece header. Is there a special way to unbolt, like a pattern or something anyone know the torque spec as well.
It should have came with 3 gaskets, but yeah - other than that it should just bolt right up.
"Course, just because it should doesn't mean that it always does.....good luck.

I'd go to a muffler shop and have them do it......but if you have the tools
I don't remeber the tq specs..but if I was you spray some copper sealer on all the gaskets and let them sit....that will make em stronger and less likely to desinegrate and make annoying ticking noises like mine does

it should be fairly easy and straight forward. i would just suggest to soak the nuts/bolts in PB blaster the night before, or at least a coupla hours before hand, just to make them easier to come off.
i can't member the tq specs, but make 'em tight enough

you should be fine if you have the tools and are capable of doing it. you will have to go back and tq down every bolt after about 500 miles due to heat expansion, i know alot of people who dont follow this step and all they do is complain about exhaust leaks. so just do it right and you will be all set
