Identifying a JDM VTEC?
Was wondering if anyone can help out with this. I recently got stationed in Japan, and bought a 93 Prelude (Si? Its got a sticker that says Si inside both doors), and the stamp on the motor says F22B. I cant seem to find a reference online to determine if this is a VTEC engine or not. I've found pages that said it was a DOHC VTEC, a SOHC VTEC, or a SOHC non-VTEC.
I do have what appears to be a pair of VTEC hydraulic actuator switches down low on the left side (looking at the engine) of the block. (See: http://asia.vtec.net/topics/enginevtec.html)
Any insight would be great...thanks

That's a DOHC motor without VTEC. Check here http://www.honda.co.jp/HOT/ModelData...109/si_sy.html but first translate it into English
