I customized my bike to be a 120 horse (80lb/ft tq) V-twin cross-country monster though. I have a custom amplified and waterproof speaker system built into the cowl to hook my MP3 player up to on long trips, riser bars, removable side luggage, corbin seat, Penske 3-way in the rear, Traxxion built fully adjustable forks up front, and of course all the power goodies (k&n, TwoBros exhaust, pc2 custom dyno-tuned). I did a loop a few years ago that started in Wisconsin, followed the great lakes around into NY, then stayed south of the Canadian border up to Baxter State Park in Maine, then followed the east coast down into VA, then after being on the road for 4 weeks finally decided I should think about heading home so I made a bee-line throuh the mountains and headed back to Milwaukee. No way a CBR is going to do that trip without the rider icing his sack every 200 miles.
If Honda made a good V-twin sport I'd probably hop all over it but the Superhawk is/was
and their Interceptor V-4 is a technical nightmare to keep running so......Suzuki all the way.
Whoa....what was the OP's topic again?
