They are comparable.

Hondata is commercial, more widely known by tuners, and have a lot of support.

Uberdata is like a cult. It can do the many things Hondata can, plus a lot of things are customizable. The good thing is that it's FREE TOO! The thing is, most people have to learn about it on their own, and tune their own cars.

It's easier to find a tuner that knows Hondata.

That said, I used to use Uberdata, but recently switched to another free package called Crome. Pretty close to Hondata/Uberdata feature wise, and it is scriptable. There are tons of scripts out there for adding in boost tables, ITB tuning, etc.

Basically, if you want to DIY (or you are broke, like me), go Uberdata or Crome. If you want to drop it off and pick it up tuned, go Hondata.

Well basically you would need to get a chipped p28 or something that will run your car and run an ostrich which will allow you to change things on the fly. I plan to run uberdata for the break-in on my motor and then running my AEM again.
