i have a really strange problem with a 97 lude.

i took of the head to replace the head gasket, and re assembled. now the car wont start.

timing is correct
there is compression
firing order is correct
there is fuel at the rail
... but the injectors have no power

the fuel pump is working, and all the fuses are intact.

what is making the injectors haveno power?
i would suspect the pgm relay, but if the pump is working, would that take that possibility away?

any help would be GREATLY appreciated

 

I would check all my relays and pull an easy one...check and make sure all the injector connectors are plugged in...I did an egr block off and broke the cover over my fuel rail on my 4th gen...well taking off the cover pulled one connector out just a little bit and made my car run like ****...so check the little things first man

 

yeah, i checked alll the connections many times,and everything seems to be secure.

it seems as if the injectors are getting powered, but are not grounding out to activate them..... is thi an ecu ground issue i should be looking for?

all wires from ecu to injectors are working fine.i tested all of them.

i went to apply power and ground to an injector, and no fuel is getting into the cyl!

how can i have working injectors, and fuel pressure, but no fuel in the cyl?
