Help with 88 lude
Aight, so i used to have an 88 prelude. 2.0 si, nothin special. got whooped by like everything. soo, im wanting to get another one, but my question is this:
Since the motor is a b20a5, would a turbo setup from a b18 work with this motor?
Thanks for any help

Ok, let me tell you this, i had an 89 prelude si 4 wheel steer, i loved the car and it was hopped all up with tons of stuff and it SUCKED. period. I just sold it this past Thursday ( 2-10-05) ans he loves it. The car got its *** whooped almost everytime unless it was a 1.5 civic it was going aginst or some other sohc honda. I now have 2000 dollars and no car but i tell ya, getting rid of my 3rd gen lude was the best thing ive ever done. I am getting a civic Hatchback 92-95 and im putting a B18B1 in it and i was told that putting simple bolt-ons and misc. stuff will make it go pretty fast. Use your cash and get something that will fly, dont start at the bottom with a 3rd gen lude like i did, get a car that is a 93+, you do not need an old *** lude, if anything get a newer one. Anyway, i cannot answer your ? about the turbo, i was just telling you my story about the 89 lude i had just recently. Hope this helps your decision some. write back and tell us what you're going to do. GOOD LUCK
wtf what kind of talk is that ????there are plenty thousands of third geners out there that mod there cars way past the rest, from all over the world!
i am one of them h22a powered and love it to death ..
to drop tops, dont let that sad story for a driver discourage you anyways getting
back to the subject im not sure on that one,you can go to prelude power.com
in the 3rd gen forum and ask them they might know.
toofastprelude is selling intake manifold and T/B combo for 300.00 that is dynod 24whp 15tq ,a quick fix for more hp.pm me for any questions.
imo i rather have a thirdgen before another gen!

See, the thing is i used to have a 88 prelude. and although it was dog slow, i loved it. im just trying to regain that feeling, only a little faster.
if i wanted to drive a fast car, i would just get my 10 second Z28 out of the garage and take it for a spin.
