I have a jdm h22 in my 97 civic coupe. Last night I was driving home and my harmonic balancer broke where the key fits in it. I have had problems before getting basic parts for my h22 and having them not fit or be right. Where can I get a harmonic balancer?

Re: harmonic balancer (BolisticSi)
It's a crank pulley, not a harmonic balancer.

The pulley at the bottom of the motor with the power steering and alternator belt on it?

yeah thats a crank pulley, its a hunk of metal with a little rubber vibration dampener on it, hondas are internally balanced...

you may have had problems with parts fitting your motor because you cheap out and buy them from aftermarket part stores....buy OEM stuff

Re: (Rosko)
allright I figured it out the tech did not torque the crank pulley down so it took about a week to loosen up, then the key got jammed and chipped the inside where the key sits.

welp, if he did it, then it's his fault. take it out of his a$$. no need for you to pay for it. you pay for a certain level of work and trust is involved with that.
